Chapter 664:

Guangma raised his left hand to grasp his right.

His hand was trembling uncontrollably, beyond his will.

The aftershock of blocking Wei Yan-ho’s attack was still numbing his arm with a tingling sensation. The aftermath of that power made Guangma’s liver and gallbladder turn cold.

Because the enemy was strong?

Of course, that was also true.

But the reason Guangma was truly shocked wasn’t simply because Wei Yan-ho was strong.

‘How on earth?’

It was none other than him who had created the opinion within the Demonic Cult that Wei Yan-ho should be watched.

Strength that was unbelievable for a child, and growth potential that anyone with eyes would have to acknowledge.

If left alone like this, Wei Yan-ho would undoubtedly become a formidable enemy blocking the cult’s path someday.

Nevertheless, Guangma hadn’t killed Wei Yan-ho.

Because he had a mission he absolutely had to complete, and because he thought the cult wouldn’t give Wei Yan-ho time to grow.

If the cult had planned to target the Central Plains fifty years from now, Wei Yan-ho would have become the worst enemy to block the cult. But the cult’s invasion preparations were already complete.

So no matter how much Wei Yan-ho grew, it would be impossible for him to block the cult.

Just a few months ago, Guangma had thought so.

But…

Guangma clenched his fist. His forearm, clearly marked with footprints, came into his view.

‘Even though I didn’t draw up my qi to the extreme…’

His body bore wounds.

His flesh, which couldn’t be scratched even by a refined treasured sword or trained strong qi, was wounded and crying out in pain from a simple kick.

Guangma gritted his teeth.

It was possible to become strong.

All martial artists live with the goal of becoming stronger. It’s only natural to grow stronger through training and effort.

But even that had degrees and stages.

‘What method could possibly make someone this strong in such a short time?’

Guangma glared at Wei Yan-ho with bloodshot eyes.

Just a few months ago when he faced Wei Yan-ho, he had been in a position to control Wei Yan-ho’s life. He could have killed him at any time if he had wanted to. The reason he spared him was partly because there was good reason to, but mostly because he judged there would be no particular problem even if he didn’t kill him.

If at that time, he had known Wei Yan-ho would become this strong?

Mission or whatever, he would have killed Wei Yan-ho first by any means necessary. Even if it meant throwing away his own life.

As the price for missing that opportunity, the snake he had released had appeared as a monster.

The one he thought would become at most a lesser dragon had become not a dragon, but a monster.

What could you learn from just one exchange?

Of course you could learn.

Anyone who couldn’t accurately assess their opponent after exchanging a single blow wasn’t qualified to be a bishop of the cult. Even without exchanging blows, you had to be able to confirm the gap with your opponent to survive in the treacherous cult.

That sense was now telling Guangma.

‘Stronger than me?’

That brat?

It was incomprehensible.

And it was unacceptable.

Guangma bit his lips tightly.

Was his sense wrong?

That couldn’t be.

Because Mad Blood Demon was also showing the same reaction. No, he was showing an even more intense reaction.

“This bastard…”

Blood vessels stood out in Mad Blood Demon’s eyes. He wasn’t even thinking of wiping away the blood flowing from his mouth down to his chin.

Naturally, he would be dumbfounded.

At least Guangma knew there was such a thing as ‘potential’ in Wei Yan-ho. He was just shocked that the time for that potential to be realized was ridiculously fast.

Given enough time, Wei Yan-ho would have eventually reached this level. But for Mad Blood Demon, the current situation must be incomprehensible.

He would have received sufficient reports about Wei Yan-ho’s strength.

Ironically, it wasn’t the Central Plains martial world that most acknowledged Wei Yan-ho. It was the Demonic Cult that most acknowledged Wei Yan-ho.

Unlike the Central Plains, which was blankly accepting Wei Yan-ho’s activities, the cult was accepting Wei Yan-ho as an actual threat. Nevertheless, they couldn’t help being shocked because Wei Yan-ho had far exceeded even the cult’s imagination.

‘Who on earth raised that guy?’

This was no longer in the realm of talent.

Of course, those called great masters or grandmasters were originally like this. With the power of terrifying talent, they simply leap over domains no one has pioneered and easily open new horizons.

But even they needed time.

Guangma knew of only one person who had entered the realm of transcendence without any time constraints like this.

The Great Demon Emperor.

But the Great Demon Emperor hadn’t reached that realm through his power alone. The Great Demon Emperor was a demon created by forcibly pouring all of the Demonic Cult’s resources into him.

The spiritual medicines and effort poured into him could have created several of the strongest units.

But Wei Yan-ho?

The Great Demon Emperor was raised by concentrating all of the Demonic Cult’s power. Who on earth could do such a thing again?

It was impossible.

It was absolutely impossible.

For that to be possible, the power of whoever raised Wei Yan-ho would have to be equal to or greater than the Demonic Cult’s power. But how could that be possible?

Even if the Central Plains martial world put all their effort into concentrating power on Wei Yan-ho, it would be impossible.

But…

Guangma’s face contorted.

‘It doesn’t matter.’

This much shock was enough. What was important wasn’t being shocked, but bringing down Wei Yan-ho.

“Mad Blood Demon!”

“…I know.”

Mad Blood Demon growled in a low voice.

He knew too. That Wei Yan-ho absolutely had to be killed here and now.

An absolute master exerts tremendous power on the battlefield.

But compared to the influence an absolute master has in war, influence on the battlefield is nothing. The difference between having and not having an absolute master in war is enough to determine victory or defeat in the war.

Hadn’t they already experienced that fact through the Great Demon Emperor’s case in the past?

The fact that an absolute master whom no one could stop could appear in the middle of the battlefield at any moment extremely raised allies’ morale and trampled enemies’ morale to a terrifying degree.

That’s why in the past, the Divine Beggar Sect thoroughly ignored places where the Great Demon Emperor appeared and fought by achieving victory in places where the Great Demon Emperor wasn’t.

Because achieving victory in a place where an absolute master exists is virtually impossible.

If Wei Yan-ho was allowed to live here, the Demonic Cult might have to follow in the footsteps of the past Righteous Martial Alliance in the future. That was absolutely unacceptable.

‘Joint attack…’

There was no hesitation about a joint attack.

Both Mad Blood Demon and Guangma overflowed with pride in their martial learning, but they weren’t stupid enough not to know that displaying pride against a stronger opponent was inviting death.

But acknowledging that young child as a stronger opponent than themselves and launching a joint attack was something neither Guangma nor Mad Blood Demon had ever imagined. Though they say there’s no pride before practical benefit, they couldn’t help but reconsider the word pride once more.

“Don’t think of anything else, Guangma.”

Reading such signs from Guangma, Mad Blood Demon spoke in a cold tone.

“Winning is pride.”

“…Useless talk.”

Guangma slightly gritted his teeth and looked forward.

Wei Yan-ho was literally running wild.

“Uraaaaaaaaaa!”

The sword was swung.

Wei Yan-ho’s white sword, made of some unimaginable material, emitted brilliant radiance.

Light orbs larger than people poured down like a meteor shower decorating the night sky.

And the result was tremendous.

Kwaaaaaaaang!

Kwaaaaaaaaang!

Explosions.

Each light orb became a storm of qi when it touched the ground, sweeping away the surroundings. Dozens of such light orbs fell consecutively.

“S-save me!”

“Dodge! Dodge! Don’t try to face it!”

Even the fearless demons of the Demonic Cult threw themselves backward in panic. But most couldn’t dodge in time. Those caught in the explosions of the light orbs lost their lives without even being able to scream.

“How can a person!”

“What the hell is this!”

Wei Yan-ho’s martial arts, which emitted light and launched light, made enemies feel despair.

At the same time, it extremely raised the allies’ morale.

“Uwaaaaaaa!”

“Let’s go! Follow Young Hero Wei!”

When an absolute master displays divine might, enemies lose morale and allies gain morale. But Wei Yan-ho’s effect easily surpassed the activities of ordinary absolute masters.

This was because the visual effect of his martial arts was overwhelmingly intense.

Though countless martial arts exist in the world, none are as spectacular as Wei Yan-ho’s Light Sword. His martial arts, which emit light and explode light, are not only powerful in actual might but appear several times more powerful than their actual strength.

“Advance! Don’t let those wicked ones live!”

Divine Beggar’s voice rang out thunderously.

Wei Yan-ho’s presence sweeping ahead, Divine Beggar’s presence supporting from behind, and finally the existence of reinforcements that would be rushing to Mount Hua even at this moment.

When those three combined, morale that had fallen to the bottom instantly soared to the heavens.

That wasn’t all.

Kwakwakwakwakwakwakwakwakwakwak!

A section of the demonic cult members swarming like ants was swept away by storm-like sword strikes.

Everyone’s gaze focused on that spot at once.

An old man with a sage-like impression, wearing pure white robes, slowly descended to the ground and shook off his sword.

“I’m a bit late, strategist.”

“Single Heaven Sword!”

“It’s the White Sword Castle Lord!”

“The White Sword Castle Lord has come! The head of the Ten Thousand Swords White Family has come!”

Tremendous cheers erupted.

Watching that scene, Wei Yan-ho pouted his lips.

“They didn’t do that when I came.”

“Be quiet, you brat!”

“Ugh.”

At Wei Jeong-han’s voice coming from behind, Wei Yan-ho quickly turned his head away. If he said one more word here, he’d only get scolded.

The advance party that departed with Wei Yan-ho had arrived.

“You beggars! If those bastards enter the Central Plains, you won’t even be able to beg! Smash their heads!”

“Disciples of Wudang, never forgive those who dared stain the sacred Taoist temple with blood!”

“Amitabha!“

Resounding, tremendous shouts.

Leaping over Mount Hua’s halls, the elite of the Righteous Martial Alliance jumped into the front lines.

The aspect of battle was changing.

Those who could barely manage to block the incoming Demonic Cult began to push back the cult’s forces.

And Wei Yan-ho was at the very front of that.

“Uraaaaaaaaaa!”

Explosions occurred everywhere Wei Yan-ho’s sword touched. Wei Yan-ho’s appearance, knocking down dozens of demonic cult members with a single sword strike, was worthy of being called a war god.

“Die! Die! Dieeeeeee!”

…Well, there were some shortcomings.

But regardless of how he looked, no one could deny that Wei Yan-ho’s divine might was overwhelming.

Based on Wei Yan-ho’s overwhelming divine might, the tide of war was reversed in one stroke.

“Don’t miss the opportunity! Push them baaaaaack!”

With Divine Beggar’s soul-filled roar, the Righteous Martial Alliance’s forces began to slaughter the Demonic Cult.
