SFRW-Chapter 300
by SbmjamCh. 300 Sword God From The Ruined World
“Meteor?”
Meteor summoning magic.
The Meteor spell, which summons a massive meteorite to completely devastate the surrounding area, is not something even the most exceptional archmages can easily cast.
Preparing it takes at least ten minutes, and the immense magic consumption makes the aftermath difficult to endure.
However, its value is undeniable, making it the highest-tier spell capable of turning the tide in large-scale wars.
“…Is it Vipiens?”
Kusak, witnessing the sudden summoning of the meteor, guessed that Vipiens must be the one behind it.
What could have happened to make Vipiens resort to casting Meteor?
He could guess.
The undead monsters that had been binding his feet had suddenly vanished, followed by countless triangular stars falling from the sky.
“Kassal… Did you really come?”
This was something he had never wished for.
No matter how strong Kassal was, his opponent was Vipiens.
To Kusak, Vipiens was an ancient Dragon among ancient Dragons, a being worthy of being called the pinnacle of Dragonkind.
Thus, he believed that even Kassal, despite his strength, could not overcome such an innate limitation.
Could he really defeat a Dragon standing at the very peak of Dragonkind?
Kusak shook his head.
‘It won’t be easy. No… This time, even for Kassal, it’s impossible.’
But regardless of Kusak’s thoughts, Seo Do-jun had already encountered Vipiens.
“Huu…”
Letting out a deep sigh, Kusak prepared for the end.
If Seo Do-jun hadn’t appeared, it might have been different, but now that he was facing Vipiens, Kusak resolved to pour everything he had into helping him in any way possible.
Just as Kusak was about to step toward the battlefield—
“Kusak!”
A familiar voice called out to him cheerfully. Kusak turned his head with a faint smile.
As expected, Choi Kang-soo was grinning brightly at him.
“You’re not even pretending to be happy? I sent you to protect Earth, and here you are, playing hostage. What are you doing here?”
At Choi Kang-soo’s sarcastic tone, Kusak didn’t bother asking how he knew.
Since Choi Kang-soo, Shinjo, and the others were already with Rakun and Veronica, they must have heard everything.
“Over there!”
Just as Kusak was about to ask how they got here, he noticed Rahf urgently pointing. He closed his mouth and turned his gaze toward where the meteor was falling.
A massive sword-shaped energy surged from the ground toward the enormous meteorite descending at breakneck speed.
The sword energy pierced precisely through the meteor’s center.
And then—a colossal explosion!
KWAOOOAAANG!
The explosion dyed the entire sky red, shaking Vipiens’ lair with tremors both large and small.
“They’re really going all out…”
Kusak muttered heavily, while Rakun and Veronica exchanged determined looks.
“Why so serious? Uncle is gonna finish off that Vipiens guy anyway.”
“Your words and expression don’t match at all.”
Kusak chuckled at Choi Kang-soo’s unusually stiff expression.
“What’s wrong with my face?!”
“It’s just full of worry for Kassal.”
“W-what nonsense are you spouting?!”
Choi Kang-soo flared up, but Kusak, realizing there was no time for bickering, took the lead and moved toward where Seo Do-jun and Vipiens were fighting.
As Rakun and Veronica followed—
“Wait! Shouldn’t we come up with some kind of plan before charging in recklessly?”
Choi Kang-soo shouted urgently.
Even if Seo Do-jun were to lose, the battle wouldn’t end quickly, so he wanted to find some way to help.
“A plan? There’s only one.”
“What is it?”
“We fight with our lives on the line. Our opponent… isn’t someone we can guarantee victory against, even if we stake everything.”
Kusak’s grave tone made it clear he was prepared to die if necessary.
“…Damn it, just what kind of monster is he…?”
Remembering how Vipiens had immobilized him with a single finger, Choi Kang-soo felt cold sweat trickling down his spine again.
Meanwhile, the sky trembled with successive explosions, signaling that the battle between Vipiens and Seo Do-jun was intensifying.
“Dammit! This might really be where I die.”
Choi Kang-soo, too, stepped forward without hesitation.
Fear of death gripped his entire body, but he couldn’t cower like a frightened mouse.
“What’s the big deal? You only die once, not twice! Damn it! Let’s finish this!”
Determined to make up for being paralyzed by Vipiens’ aura earlier, Choi Kang-soo steeled himself.
***
KWA-ANG!
No sooner had the massive explosion subsided than enormous ice spears rained down on Seo Do-jun from all directions.
Each spear carried enough force to demolish a city wall, and there were dozens of them.
‘…Is this the true power of an ancient Dragon?’
Seo Do-jun shook his head lightly as he watched the ice spears descend.
From the Meteor spell summoning a giant meteorite to explosions ripping through the air, a downpour of water blades, storms shredding space itself, and now ice spears—Vipiens was demonstrating why Dragons were called the pinnacle of magical races, wielding every elemental magic at its highest level.
KWAJAJAJAJAK!
Seo Do-jun’s sword traced arcs, deflecting the ice spears.
The shockwaves devastated the surroundings, but no one cared.
Vipiens, watching Seo Do-jun block yet another attack, was genuinely impressed.
‘Just as I expected!’
A being who had transcended the limits of his species.
Regardless of his origins, Seo Do-jun had become something entirely different—a fact even the arrogant Vipiens could acknowledge with applause.
‘Did Barhaut leave an opponent like this alive?’
It was incomprehensible.
The Barhaut, Vipiens knew would never spare anyone who could so much as touch him.
‘Did he not know he was alive?’
That was the only explanation.
Otherwise, Barhaut, who had spent millennia conquering dimensions and destroying planets, wouldn’t have made such a mistake.
‘How amusing.’
While Seo Do-jun’s emergence was a disaster for Barhaut, for Vipiens, it was pure delight.
Thanks to Seo Do-jun, Barhaut’s forces had been shattered, and his elite group, the Six Seats, had collapsed entirely.
‘If I could capture him and keep him by my side…’
If possible, he’d love to.
A human of such skill would provide endless entertainment.
But he knew it wouldn’t be easy—and Barhaut wouldn’t stand idly by. So, regrettably, Vipiens resolved to enjoy this battle to the fullest.
The problem was that Seo Do-jun had no intention of playing along.
KWAJAJAJANG! KWACHWAJANG!
After obliterating the ice spears, Seo Do-jun shifted from defense to offense for the first time.
‘If I let him attack freely, I’ll be at a disadvantage. I need to force him into defensive magic to expose openings or weaknesses.’
Against a mage, the most critical rule was never to let them cast spells unchecked.
Especially a Dragon, a race with near-limitless magic. If Seo Do-jun kept defending, he’d be dragged to his death.
He had to push Vipiens relentlessly, disrupting his spells to stand a chance.
Seo Do-jun surged forward, closing the distance while gathering magic.

Fifth Form: Torrential Flurio Stfluer!
-The flooding of a whirlpooling river-
Unlike before, Seo Do-jun’s sword slashed in all directions like rays of light.
Wherever his blade passed, layers of overwhelming sword energy stacked up.
“Not bad.”
Vipiens smirked as waves of sword energy closed in.
For a being who had lived nearly ten thousand years, facing countless swordsmen, Seo Do-jun’s intentions were transparent—and laughable.
With a wave of his hands—
KWAGAGAGAGA!
A storm of magic shattered the sword waves.
An overwhelming display of power.
This was the magic of an ancient Dragon—effortlessly crushing Seo Do-jun’s assault.
But Seo Do-jun had anticipated this.
Unnoticed, blue specks had densely surrounded Vipiens.

First Form: Killida Milagro Lucru!
-The Miracle Created by Dots-
“What can weaker attacks accomplish—?”
PAJIK! PAJIJIK! PAJIJIJIK!
The blue specks collided, unleashing a storm of lightning.
Trapped in the tempest, Vipiens’ surroundings were struck as if by the wrath of a Thunder God.
For the first time, Vipiens’ brow twitched.
Yet, encased in an octagonal honeycomb shield, not even his clothes were singed.
Still, being forced on the defensive wounded his pride.
Seo Do-jun pressed on relentlessly.
This time.

Third Form: Spiral Frehido Catast!
-The destructive spiral hidden within elegance-
JJEEONG! JJEEOONG! JJANG-!
Though these spiral blades had never failed to cut through anything before, Vipiens’ shield held firm.
‘Incredible!’
Seo Do-jun clicked his tongue but didn’t relent.
His goal wasn’t immediate victory—it was to restrict Vipiens’ movements and prevent him from freely casting attack spells.
For now, that was enough.
Meanwhile, Vipiens’ frown deepened with each relentless strike.
When was the last time he’d been forced into such a defensive position?
Too long ago to remember.
Perhaps only in his earliest days, when his magic was still feeble.
“At this point, I’ll show you what despair truly is—!”
Seo Do-jun raised his sword high, then brought it down with all his might.
Vandeyan Swordsmanship
Seventh Form: Lunatis Haros Execna!
-Execution of the Mad Reaper-
This time was different.
Vipiens’ eyebrow twitched as a colossal sword energy shot straight toward him.
JJEE- JJEEJJEEJJEE-
The shield groaned in protest.
Then—
KWA- CHACHAANG!
Like shattering glass, the shield protecting Vipiens exploded into fragments.
Simultaneously—
SWOOSH!
Vipiens’ left forearm was slashed.
DRIP… DRIP…
Though not a fatal wound, crimson blood seeped from the deep gash, staining his torn sleeve.
Drip… drip… drip…
Blood dripped from his fingertips to the ground.
“Th-this can’t be…!”
Luam couldn’t believe his eyes.
No matter how strong Seo Do-jun was, Vipiens was a being who should never be wounded by a mere human.
‘Could it be…?’
Gloria clenched her fists, hope flaring.
If even the mighty Vipiens could bleed… maybe Seo Do-jun could win.
But Seo Do-jun’s expression remained grim.
He’d aimed to sever an arm—yet only managed a scratch.
A wound like this would heal instantly for Vipiens.
Even a severed limb could be reattached effortlessly.
“Huu…”
Seo Do-jun exhaled heavily.
This fight would be far harder than he’d imagined.
Fatigue weighed on him, though the battle had just begun.
Still—
‘I can’t lose.’
Gripping his sword tighter, Seo Do-jun charged at Vipiens once more.
