Ch. 285 Sword God From The Ruined World

“I have a question. Can I ask you something?”

At Pio’s sudden question, Felts widened his eyes in surprise.

Pio was a High Elf who, in terms of innate bloodline alone, stood above all others—her noble bearing was unmatched. Born with a lineage more precious than anyone else’s, she was also the type to rarely show interest in trivial matters. So, the fact that she was directing a question at him made Felts stop dead in his tracks.

“Of course! Yeah, what do you want to ask? I’ll answer anything honestly!”

What could Pio be curious about when it comes to me?

Felts, who had secretly harbored feelings for Pio’s beautiful appearance, felt his heart pounding wildly.

Could it be… that she’s interested in me too?

Swallowing hard with more tension than he’d ever felt facing any enemy, he waited as Pio parted her rosy lips.

“Who won when you fought Allekuhi?”

“…What?”

It wasn’t the question he’d hoped for. Worse, it dredged up a memory he’d rather forget. Felts’ face twisted unpleasantly.

“Answer honestly. If you’re weaker than Allekuhi, I need to prepare accordingly.”

“…Prepare?”

Pio frowned as if he were slow to understand.

“If you’re going to hold me back, say so now.”

Her voice was cold enough to snap Felts out of his delusions.

“You don’t need to worry about that. Just focus on your own task. That bastard Allekuhi could never be a match for me.”

Normally, Pio would’ve let it go, but this time, she pressed further.

“What’s the reason for that confidence?”

“Because Allekuhi has a fatal weakness!”

“Weakness?”

“Ugh! I don’t know why I have to explain this to you, but since you’re so curious, fine. Allekuhi made an irreversible mistake by obsessing only over his physical strength.”

Seeing Pio’s expectant look, Felts answered simply, as if there was no need for further detail.

“His internal core is broken.”

Pio looked like she wanted to ask what that meant, but Felts shut his mouth, signaling the conversation was over.

Stupid fool. He poured everything into his exterior and didn’t even realize his internal core was crumbling… Allekuhi, you can never defeat me!

Felts vowed to make sure Allekuhi understood that fact clearly this time.

“…What are you trying to do?”

Allekuhi stopped moving the moment Seo Do-jun sheathed his sword in subspace, tilting his head as he stared at him with a suspicious gaze.

“This time, I think I’ll try using my fists.”

Though Seo Do-jun’s response was genuine, Allekuhi didn’t seem to take it that way.

He let out a deep sigh, looking at Seo Do-jun with a mix of disbelief and fury.

“Are you saying your specialty is fists?”

“Not at all.”

“And yet… you’re seriously planning to fight me with them? So, all this time, you’ve been looking down on me.”

Allekuhi nodded slowly as he spoke.

When was the last time I was disrespected like this? Centuries ago?

The absurdity of the situation was so great that, rather than feeling insulted, Allekuhi was consumed by rage.

“I’ll make sure you never use those fists again.”

Allekuhi charged at Seo Do-jun with full force.

As if to deliver a brutal punishment for discarding his sword, Allekuhi’s strikes were even more destructive than before.

Seo Do-jun, understanding Allekuhi’s anger, swiftly dodged his punches using teleportation stones.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

“You said you’d use your fists, but all you’re doing is running around like a rat!”

Allekuhi grew even angrier as Seo Do-jun kept evading his attacks using teleportation magic.

Meanwhile, Seo Do-jun found it burdensome to step into Allekuhi’s range, where his monstrous destructive power turned everything to ruin.

Had he been holding the sword he’d wielded all his life, he wouldn’t have hesitated in offense or defense. But the problem was facing an overwhelming opponent like Allekuhi with just his fists.

Maybe I should’ve at least held my sword in my left hand.

It wouldn’t be as strong as his right, but Seo Do-jun had been called the Sword God—even his left-handed strikes wouldn’t be weak.

He regretted not keeping his sword for at least minimal defense.

But I have to let go of the sword, right? I’m learning to use my fists now. I know it’s not easy to release the sword from my hand, but human habits aren’t as easy to change as you’d think. If you keep holding that sword, Kassal, even if unintentionally, you’ll swing it on reflex.

Rosmel was right.

Habits weren’t easily broken.

Whether he held the sword in his right or left hand, the moment he sensed danger or an opening, he’d reflexively swing it.

If that happened, his stubborn resolve to use his fists would lose its meaning.

Well, a few hits should be enough.

He just needed to land a few punches on Allekuhi when the chance arose.

He wasn’t sure if they’d work, but he was determined to try.

Of course, breaking through Allekuhi’s furious rampage wouldn’t be easy.

Well… he’ll calm down eventually.

Seo Do-jun tried to reassure himself—but then:

“Let’s see how long you keep running!”

Allekuhi, as if his toughness stemmed from sheer stamina, relentlessly pursued Seo Do-jun for over 30 minutes without slowing.

Seo Do-jun needed even the slightest opening to strike, but Allekuhi gave none.

Worse, he couldn’t keep wrestling with Allekuhi forever.

If that were the plan, he’d have never let go of his sword in the first place.

And most importantly—

Just as Shinjo and Grichuk had finished off all the Desperaohs, mocking them, twelve new Desperaohs emerged from the ground.

That wasn’t all.

“KYAAAAAH!”

At least twenty powerful Skeleton Soldiers appeared on the battlefield, disrupting Shinjo and Grichuk.

Ignoring the holy power radiating from the pillar of light, the Skeleton Soldiers—Dragon Bone Knights—wielded massive greatswords, interfering with Shinjo and Grichuk.

Seeing this, Seo Do-jun realized he couldn’t drag out his fight with Allekuhi any longer.

There are still two more Transcendents left. I need to finish this before they join.

He resolved to face Allekuhi head-on, even if it meant taking some damage.

Allekuhi, his eyes bloodshot, swung his fists wildly in all directions.

Each strike created a whirlwind of force, carving up everything around him.

No matter how much Seo Do-jun used teleportation, Allekuhi’s attacks were simple yet devastating—all it took was one hit.

Seo Do-jun gritted his teeth and condensed magic into his right hand.

I need to break through in one go.

He only had one chance.

An opponent like Allekuhi wouldn’t fall for the same trick twice.

Before Allekuhi could realize his intent, Seo Do-jun had to create an opening in a single move.

As blue magic gathered around Seo Do-jun’s fist, Allekuhi smirked, as if pleased he was finally facing him head-on.

Crossing his arms, Allekuhi thrust both fists forward.

Two massive whirlwinds shot horizontally, followed by magic-formed fists carrying terrifying force.

I should… dodge this.

If he had his sword, maybe. But facing Allekuhi’s strikes with his fists was a losing battle.

Seo Do-jun quickly teleported away with a teleportation stone, and Allekuhi’s eyes exploded with rage at the sight.

“RAAAAAH!”

Enraged by what he saw as mockery, Allekuhi lost all composure and roared.

As a Transcendent, he couldn’t comprehend how someone could be so cowardly and deceitful.

“I’ll tear you apart! I’ll rip your body to shreds!”

As Allekuhi grew even more ferocious, Seo Do-jun realized he needed a little more time and took a step back.

No… in this state, he’s—

Watching Allekuhi destroy everything blindly, Seo Do-jun thought he could use that to his advantage.

It’s not my style… but if I can use it, I should.

With two more enemies to face and an unpredictable situation, Seo Do-jun decided to conserve his strength.

He began luring Allekuhi toward the Desperaohs.

“Allekuhi! Snap out of it! Don’t fall for his cunning tricks!”

Luam shouted, trying to restore Allekuhi’s rationality—but it was useless.

“Shut up! I’ll tear that bastard apart myself! Luam, if you interfere, I won’t forgive you!”

Allekuhi, having completely lost his temper, ignored Luam entirely.

And then—

“KWA-BOOOM!”

“Allekuhi! You insane bastard!”

One of Allekuhi’s wild punches obliterated a Desperaoh, exposing Luam, who had been hiding.

In a situation where they needed to work together, Allekuhi’s foolishness was pathetic.

“I told you to shut up!”

“You… you—!”

Luam forced himself to suppress his anger, knowing he couldn’t afford to lose his cool.

Meanwhile, Ratio watched silently, a mocking smile on her face.

But one thing was clear.

Provoking Allekuhi deliberately and manipulating the battlefield to his advantage… You really are the one who killed Gettis and Vampica. Even if I spare the others, you must die here.

Ratio’s cold eyes locked onto Seo Do-jun.

Allekuhi, who had seemed inexhaustible, was finally tiring.

Seo Do-jun had cleverly used him to destroy Desperaohs and Dragon Bone Knights, draining his stamina further.

Yet, Allekuhi’s surroundings were still a storm of destructive force, capable of reducing even the Desperaohs’ defenses to dust.

But Seo Do-jun saw it clearly—the opening he’d been waiting for.

Now’s the time to strike.

He sensed that defeating Allekuhi now would turn the tide completely in his favor.

However—

It has to work.

The punches he’d learned from Rosmel needed to pierce Allekuhi’s defenses to end this perfectly.

Pushing aside his unease, Seo Do-jun moved.

“Damn it! Get lost!”

Allekuhi pulverized a Desperaoh in his way, his bloodshot eyes searching for Seo Do-jun.

“…!”

Seo Do-jun, who had been dodging like an eel, was now charging straight through the whirlwinds of force.

Using teleportation would’ve risked his entire body being caught in the storm, so he was pushing through directly.

But—

“Did you really think you could mock me again?!”

A head-on fight?

Allekuhi was certain Seo Do-jun wasn’t that type.

Gettis and Vampica must’ve fallen for his deceit too.

He’d never face me directly.

Allekuhi assumed this was another feint, meant only to provoke him.

Wasting energy on such a coward was pointless.

Allekuhi threw a half-hearted punch, still believing Seo Do-jun would dodge.

Even that much force would’ve terrified a top-tier warrior—but for Seo Do-jun, it was manageable.

“KWA-GA-GOOM!”

“…!”

The moment Seo Do-jun broke through his attack at terrifying speed, Allekuhi realized—he’d been tricked again.

“FWOOSH-FWOOSH-FWACK!”

Seo Do-jun’s fists created countless afterimages, striking Allekuhi’s chest and abdomen.

“…?”

But something was wrong.

The force was pitifully weak.

Compared to the power of his sword strikes, this should’ve been negligible.

“…You damn bastard!”

Seo Do-jun had never seriously trained in fistfighting.

Allekuhi, thinking this was another mockery, prepared to unleash his full power the moment Seo Do-jun was within reach—

“Tuk.”

A sensation of something snapping inside his body.

The protective barrier covering Allekuhi’s skin vanished.

The dark blue energy around him faded.

And—

The whirlwinds shielding him disappeared without a trace.

“SPLURT!”

Blood gushed like a fountain from both of Allekuhi’s nostrils.

“…Kuhk!”

He coughed up blood, his massive frame dropping to one knee.

“T-This is…?”

Blood vessels burst in his eyes, tears of blood streaming as he looked up at Seo Do-jun.

An attack that struck internally, not externally.

A supreme-level internal strike—one he hadn’t prepared for.

Allekuhi had no way to withstand it.

Worse—

“H-How…?”

His internal core had already been damaged once before.

That made him especially vulnerable to internal strikes from another Transcendent.

Had he known, he might’ve defended against it.

“Ghk! Ghk! …I’ve been completely outplayed.”

Allekuhi chuckled bitterly, as if realizing Seo Do-jun had been setting him up all along.

He was stunned by his opponent’s meticulousness—but more than that, he felt hollow at his own stupidity.

After focusing everything on the sword, only to be finished off by fists.

Allekuhi had no words for his utter defeat.

The attack hadn’t been fatal, but he had no strength left to evade Seo Do-jun’s next strike.

Total defeat—and death.

To die like this…

Allekuhi glared at Seo Do-jun with bloodshot eyes, filled with resentment.

“Don’t think this is the end. You’ll die just like me.”

“That won’t happen.”

With those final words, Seo Do-jun swung the sword he summoned from subspace.
