SFRW-Chapter 271
by SbmjamCh. 271 Sword God From The Ruined World
『…Su-Supernova Holy Power?!』
When pure white flames erupted from Gettis’ body, the first to react wasn’t Seo Do-jun but the Divine Sword.
Feeling the most intense emotions he’d ever sensed from it, Choi Kang-soo stared at Gettis and asked:
‘What’s Supernova Holy Power?’
The Divine Sword responded with disbelief.
『When holy power reaches its limit and breaks through, it’s called Supernova Holy Power. Explaining it to someone like you would be pointless… To put it simply, it’s the realm of a Demi-God.』
“A Demi-God?!”
Choi Kang-soo blurted out without thinking.
Everyone turned to look at him, but among them, Gettis seemed to understand the meaning of ‘Demi-God’ – a faint smile appearing at the corner of his lips.
Frowning at that smile, Choi Kang-soo pressed the Divine Sword again.
‘A Demi-God? You’re telling me this corrupted paladin broke through holy power’s limits and reached that level? How is that possible?!’
Even if he was once a paladin, Gettis was now a fallen being. The idea that his holy power had surpassed its limits was hard enough to believe, but a Demi-God?
Choi Kang-soo could only think this was nonsense.
『What? Did you think only righteous, kind and devout paladins could break through holy power’s limits?』
‘Isn’t that obvious?’
『Obvious? Why?』
‘Because true faith and righteous devotion are necessary to—’
The Divine Sword cut him off.
『What kind of bullshit is that? Are evil Gods not Gods? Do you think every God wants their followers to be righteous and kind?』
Choi Kang-soo felt like he’d been hit over the head with a hammer.
Because it wasn’t wrong.
Why had he assumed Holy Knights had to be purely good and righteous?
『By that logic, you don’t qualify either.』
This brutal truth stabbed Choi Kang-soo’s chest, his face flushing red.
He wanted to shout ‘what nonsense is this?’ but for some reason couldn’t open his mouth.
『Regardless of what you think, he’s forcibly breaking through holy power’s limits.』
‘Forcibly?’
Not understanding, Choi Kang-soo listened as the Divine Sword explained with a sigh.
『The holy relics he’s wearing – he’s forcibly extracting their holy power and merging it with his own. That he’s standing still means he’s suppressing the relics’ power backlash.』
‘Suppressing? So if we attack now, he’s defenseless?’
『Not exactly. Even if the holy power resists, it doesn’t mean he can’t fight back.』
‘Ah…’
Choi Kang-soo nodded, finally understanding.
After all, he too wielded the Divine Sword, a supreme relic.
Even when the sword refused to cooperate, Choi Kang-soo could still use holy power – just with some discomfort.
In short:
“That bastard… he’s just cheating with gear.”
Choi Kang-soo’s voice held equal parts disdain and envy.
Shinjo, who had been tense the whole time, suddenly burst out laughing.
“…What’s so funny?”
Choi Kang-soo glared at him.
Shinjo quickly schooled his expression, but his lips kept twitching.
『You think you wouldn’t laugh?』
The Divine Sword’s mocking tone made Choi Kang-soo’s face twist in frustration.
“Damn it.”
The worst part was he couldn’t even argue back.
Because he was the one who’d relied on gear to get this far.
So if anyone had no right to mock Gettis, it was Choi Kang-soo.
‘I need to take everything he has. Can’t let holy relics fall into villains’ hands again.’
The Divine Sword clicked its tongue at Choi Kang-soo’s greed disguised as righteousness.
Regardless, Choi Kang-soo shamelessly eyed Gettis’ relics one by one – helmet, armor, sword, shield, spear.
If the Divine Sword absorbed all five, maybe he could become a Transcendent too.
No – he definitely would.
This happy fantasy painted itself in his mind.
‘Uncle knows what I want, so he won’t damage the relics unless absolutely necessary, right?’
But what if Gettis resisted violently and damaged the relics?
Just the thought made Choi Kang-soo’s face pale.
‘This won’t do!’
He cautiously approached Seo Do-jun.
“Uncle, I have a request.”
“A request?”
Even in this tense situation, Seo Do-jun remained calm.
“The relics he has… please make sure none get damaged.”
It was absurd, but the fact Choi Kang-soo would ask this now made Seo Do-jun chuckle.
“Alright.”
When Seo Do-jun agreed, Choi Kang-soo’s face lit up as if the relics were already his. He bowed quickly and scurried back.
At the same time, Gettis stepped forward.
As the Divine Sword guessed, Gettis needed time to fully synchronize with the relics’ holy power.
Even if unnecessary, doing so maximized their efficiency and duration.
“That was an amusing conversation.”
Gettis spoke as if he’d heard everything.
“Was it? If I were you, I wouldn’t have found it funny.”
Seo Do-jun’s relaxed retort made Gettis smirk – as if to say, let’s see how long that composure lasts.
He kicked off the ground and charged.
As Gettis closed in, Seo Do-jun felt a stinging sensation on his skin.
‘Is it the white flames?’
The pure white flames wrapping Gettis like a shield were the likely cause.
Seo Do-jun’s guess was correct.
The Sacred Flames were a side effect of breaking through holy power’s limits.
Unlike normal fire, these couldn’t be easily extinguished or spread.
But they had immense incineration power – and most importantly…
CLANG!
Seo Do-jun’s brow twitched as his sword was deflected.
‘The repelling force is strong.’
Even a casual swing from him had never been parried so easily.
The Sacred Flames were tougher than any shield spell.
Gettis, seeing Seo Do-jun’s surprise, arrogantly swung his spear.
SWISH-SWISH-SWISH!
White flames trailed the spear, leaving glowing arcs.
The arcs shot toward Seo Do-jun like sword energy.
Having felt their power, Seo Do-jun didn’t take this lightly.

Matching the white arcs, Seo Do-jun slashed with sword energy sharp enough to split space itself.
CRACK! CLANG! CRASH!
Each collision tore through reality.
This was a true Transcendent battle – one where Choi Kang-soo and Shinjo didn’t dare interfere.
Gettis frowned as his attacks were blocked but didn’t stop.
If lines didn’t work, he’d pierce through with points.
A spear’s greatest strength was its thrust – fast, precise, devastating.
White dots like stars shot toward Seo Do-jun.
In response, Seo Do-jun created his own points.

—The Miracle Wrought by Dots—
Blue dots formed around Seo Do-jun, spreading like ink in water.
When white and blue points collided midair, nullifying each other, Gettis’ face twisted.
Seo Do-jun countering so effortlessly felt like mockery.
‘Arrogant bastard!’
Even as he cursed, Gettis grew wary.
Vampica hadn’t died for nothing.
Seo Do-jun was every bit as dangerous as he’d seemed.
Gettis’ attacks grew fiercer, his white flames striking from all directions – only to be met with explosive blue sword energy.
The relentless exchange left onlookers swallowing hard, unable to intervene.
Grichuk in particular felt crushing despair.
He’d believed becoming a Transcendent would let him fight the Six Seats as equals – yet here he was, powerless before Gettis.
At first he’d only felt discomfort, but when Gettis’ body ignited with Supernova Holy Power, Grichuk instinctively knew:
Fighting Gettis was dangerous.
Their powers were fundamentally opposed. Against him, Grichuk started at a severe disadvantage.
His grip on his sword tightened, eyes burning with frustration.
But then, perfect targets appeared.
“Lord Gettis!”
Three corrupted paladins – Blesra, Rectis, and Jermain – Gettis’ most trusted subordinates.
They couldn’t believe their master, a Demi-God, was struggling against Seo Do-jun.
Who was this man, to face Gettis head-on?
Before they could process it, a black-armored figure approached.
“W-What is this?!”
“An undead?!”
“No way… How can a Death Knight have this much power?!”
Grichuk ignored them and raised his sword.
He’d vent his rage on them – at least they could be crushed.
“All. Of. You. Die. Now.”
His voice was halting, but the dark vortex erupting from him reached the sky.
“Everyone, be care-GUH-!”
Blesra was sent flying mid-warning.
“Blesra!”
“You damned undead!”
Rectis and Jermain charged, more furious than afraid.
Even fallen, their power was still holy.
They believed no undead could withstand it.
But they soon realized their mistake.
Grichuk wasn’t just any undead.
“…Ghk!”
Jermain coughed blood, collapsing.
Fear gripped him.
This enemy was monstrous – something even Gettis might struggle against.
Desperate, he looked to his master for help.
But Gettis was locked in battle with Seo Do-jun.
Then, as Gettis aimed for Seo Do-jun’s opening:
‘Got him!’
Jermain’s eyes widened, expecting Seo Do-jun to be gravely wounded.
But-
BOOM!
A massive shield materialized, blocking Gettis’ strike.
‘Holy power?!’
Jermain immediately traced it to Choi Kang-soo wielding the Divine Sword.
Choi Kang-soo had stepped in, not just to help Seo Do-jun, but to ensure the relics stayed intact.
A Transcendent battling Gettis.
An undead radiating overwhelming dark energy.
And now, a Holy Knight wielding a Divine Sword.
“J-Just who are these people?!”
Jermain’s confusion was cut short by a choked gasp.
“Guh-!”
Blesra’s body slumped, Grichuk’s sword in his chest.
A crushing sense of dread settled over Jermain.
This might be where they all died.
