SFRW-Chapter 258
by SbmjamCh. 258 Sword God From The Ruined World
Seo Do-jun watched as his body rapidly withered away.
The sight of his once-healthy body drying up as if all moisture had been drained—like a log left under the scorching sun for days—was anything but pleasant.
“…T-This can’t be…”
Choi Kang-soo stared at him with a dazed expression, while Shinjo shed tears with a sorrowful look. Seeing them, Seo Do-jun already felt uneasy about what was to come.
‘When they find out all of this was an illusion, they’ll resent me for sure.’
An illusion.
No, more accurately—a lie.
Everyone gathered here was perceiving a false scenario crafted by Seo Do-jun as reality.
That was the power of the ‘Eyes of Falsehood’. Even if the opponent was a God, they could only see what Seo Do-jun wanted them to see.
Of course, creating a flawless ‘lie’ that was indistinguishable from reality required every single condition to align perfectly.
But no matter how powerful the Eyes of Falsehood were, they couldn’t make an existence like Vampica believe in his own death.
That was where the ‘Trap of Immortality’ came in.
To perfectly fake death without leaving even a shred of doubt, Seo Do-jun needed undeniable proof that he had truly died—and that was made possible by the Trap of Immortality.
‘The Eyes of Falsehood make others believe in a fabricated reality, but they have clear limits. However, by mixing in the Trap of Immortality, even a God can be deceived into believing a flawless scenario.’
The Fallen Angel had always believed that only by using the Eyes of Falsehood and the Trap of Immortality in unison could a God be tricked.
And then, by exploiting the God’s moment of carelessness, delivering death with the ‘Power of Godslaying’.
These were the three powers the Fallen Angel had been confident could kill a God.
In other words, to kill a God, one needed all three:
‘Eyes of Falsehood, Trap of Immortality, Power of Godslaying’.
Seo Do-jun stood in a separate boundary from those trapped in his false reality.
Though he moved slowly, no one sensed his presence.
Even Vampica, a transcendent being, merely cackled as he watched the others mourn Seo Do-jun’s death.
‘The Fallen Angel really left behind something incredible.’
Then again, it made sense—he was someone who knew Gods better than anyone and had dedicated his entire life to killing them.
In truth, the powers the Fallen Angel left behind were nothing short of divine authority.
Seo Do-jun moved behind Vampica and swung his sword.
A thin, transparent boundary tore at the tip of his blade, simultaneously piercing straight through Vampica’s abdomen.
“What’s the point of begging a dead man to rise? Pathetic fools, clinging to false hope… Gahk!”
Vampica turned his head in disbelief, staring at the sword that had impaled him without any warning.
There stood Seo Do-jun.
The corpse that had been cradled in Choi Kang-soo’s arms vanished like a wisp of smoke, as if it had never existed.
“Lord Vampica!”
Zillia’s eyes burned with murderous intent as she swung her hand toward Seo Do-jun, but—
WHAM!
Seo Do-jun’s fist struck her face first, sending her body flying backward.
Even with her face brutally crushed, the fact that she still twitched showed just how tenacious a vampire’s vitality was.
“H-How are you… alive?!”
Vampica stammered, unable to comprehend the situation.
“Did you really think you were the only one who could wield relics?”
“…What?!”
Seo Do-jun kicked Vampica square in the chest.
The sword lodged in his abdomen slid out effortlessly, and Vampica collapsed to the ground, blood gushing out.
“U-Uncle?!”
“Guild Master?!”
“…W-What’s happening?!”
Choi Kang-soo, Shinjo, and Rahf were equally stunned.
Just moments ago, Seo Do-jun had been dead—yet now he was alive, stabbing Vampica without a scratch.
Ignoring their confusion, Seo Do-jun turned his attention to Vampica, who was already struggling to rise.
Blood gushed from the gaping wound in Vampica’s abdomen, but he made no move to heal it—only glaring at Seo Do-jun.
“You… You obtained a relic’s power too?”
Seo Do-jun merely shrugged.
Vampica roared in denial.
“I don’t know what power you’ve gained, but mine is the power to kill even a God! Do you really think you can overcome that?!”
This shouldn’t be possible.
No—it couldn’t be possible.
With the Power of Godslaying, Vampica had feared nothing.
If he could kill a God, who could possibly stand against him?
Yet despite using that power to kill Seo Do-jun, here he stood—unharmed.
Vampica felt his entire belief system crumbling.
Was the Power of Godslaying… a lie?
“Believe what you want. You can think about it later.”
Seo Do-jun smirked, adding under his breath, “After you’re dead.”
“You made a mistake! You missed your best chance to kill me!”
Why stab his abdomen?
Vampica was certain that if Seo Do-jun wanted to kill him, he should’ve gone for the heart.
“I’ll show you the consequences of your arrogance!”
Just as Vampica sneered at his own gaping wound, a crimson storm of blood enveloped him, instantly healing his injuries.
CLANG!
Vampica blocked Seo Do-jun’s sword with his claws, his eyes filled with pure hatred.
“You wonder why I didn’t kill you in one strike?”
“What?!”
“I wanted to confirm something.”
“Confirm?!”
“The limits of the Six Seats—the transcendents of Barhaut. Specifically, I wanted to see just how strong you really are. A chance to kill you?”
Seo Do-jun chuckled.
“I can create as many of those as I want. So go ahead—use everything you’ve got. Prove to me what the Six Seats are made of.”
Vampica’s face twisted in humiliation.
“I’ll kill you!”
A crimson storm erupted from his body, morphing into dozens of spears that shot toward Seo Do-jun.

A wave of sword energy clashed with the crimson spears, shattering them effortlessly.
Vampica didn’t retreat—instead, he lunged forward, claws slashing through the remaining sword energy.
Seo Do-jun swung his blade again.

-A Rain of Triangular Stars Like Falling Meteors-
Stars rained down.
Vampica, mid-charge, couldn’t ignore the deadly barrage.
SLASH!
“Ghk!”
His skin split where a star grazed him.
“Tch! You think this is enough?!”
Spinning like a top, he transformed into a bloodstorm, colliding with the falling stars in a spectacle that left onlookers speechless.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The nest of Romak crumbled rapidly from the shockwaves.
“Lord Vampica!”
“Kill him!”
Zillia and the other vampires charged at Seo Do-jun, desperate to help.
But Seo Do-jun’s sword energy shredded them before they could even get close.
“Guh…!”
Even Zillia, Vampica’s strongest subordinate and lover, couldn’t block a single strike.
The difference in power was overwhelming.
The same despair she had only ever felt from Vampica now emanated from Seo Do-jun.
Her right arm severed, her left knee torn apart, she lay sprawled on the ground, watching as Vampica remained trapped under the falling stars.
Their king, the ruler of Iostem, was being pushed to the brink.
The stars carved into his flesh, piercing and tearing, multiplying his wounds.
“…Lord Vampica…”
Determined to help, Zillia gritted her teeth, transformed into a swarm of bats, and flew toward him.
THUD! THUD! THUD!
The bats intercepted the stars, their bodies exploding into bloody mist.
“…Zillia!”
Vampica screamed her name.
She shouldn’t have died like this.
Enraged, he bit down hard enough to draw blood, but escaping was impossible.
“Lord Vampica!”
Inspired by Zillia’s sacrifice, the other vampires began throwing themselves into the storm.
Layer by layer, their bodies shielded him like an umbrella.
Even Seo Do-jun’s expression hardened at the sight.
Only after Zillia and dozens of vampires had perished did Vampica finally break free.
“…You… I will kill you!”
Drenched in the blood of his followers, Vampica gnashed his teeth.
His body was at its limit, but his will burned with the desire to kill Seo Do-jun.
He activated the Power of Godslaying—for the fourth time.
Even in peak condition, using it four times was dangerously reckless, but Vampica no longer cared.
He would kill Seo Do-jun.
No matter what.
As if to prove his resolve, blood gushed from his mouth the moment he invoked the power.
His body trembled violently, his face pale—he was pushing himself far beyond his limits.
‘Is he trying to take me down with him?’
Seo Do-jun clicked his tongue, watching as a crimson spear descended upon him.
The Power of Godslaying couldn’t be blocked by ordinary means.
Dodging was nearly impossible—the overwhelming pressure pinned his body in place.
Truly worthy of being called a God-slaying force.
Seo Do-jun felt a pang of desire.
If he could obtain this power, it would be an incredible asset for his future plans.
But was there any way to steal it from Vampica now?
‘If only I’d gotten it first.’
Regret flickered, but Seo Do-jun wasn’t foolish enough to dwell on the past.
Right now, he had to survive Vampica’s suicidal attack.
‘No matter how strong the Power of Godslaying is…’
Seo Do-jun activated the Eyes of Falsehood and the Trap of Immortality once more.
Their greatest advantage was the ability to fake death.
The energy cost was immense, but the ability to evade fatal attacks at critical moments was invaluable.
THUD!
The crimson spear pierced Seo Do-jun’s skull—yet Vampica felt no joy.
Because he could sense that Seo Do-jun wasn’t truly dead.
“Y-You…!”
The difference in power felt insurmountable.
Vampica’s Godslaying power seemed pitifully weak compared to Seo Do-jun’s abilities.
While they each envied the other’s strength, Seo Do-jun appeared behind Vampica like a ghost—and plunged his sword through his heart.
“Ghk…! Ghk…!”
Vampica collapsed, staring at the blade in his chest.
For someone who had believed transcendence and Godslaying would make him invincible, this was a tragic end.
“Keh… keh… keh…”
On the verge of death, Vampica suddenly laughed.
“Don’t get arrogant just because you have relics… You’ll walk the same path as me. The Six Seats… Barhaut… isn’t as easy… as you think…”
THUD.
His head lolled, his body crumbling to ash.
As Vampica’s remains scattered, Seo Do-jun burned his final warning into his mind.
Then—
“Cough!”
A searing heat erupted inside him.
Seo Do-jun spat blood, swaying unsteadily before collapsing as Choi Kang-soo and Shinjo rushed toward him, screaming his name.
