SFRW-Chapter 237
by SbmjamCh. 237 Sword God From The Ruined World
Watching the enormous water droplets forming around Scal, Seo Do-jun sensed something ominous.
The destructive power contained within a single droplet was nothing short of a nuclear explosion.
‘Is she planning to destroy this world?’
Frowning at Scal’s tyrannical nature, Seo Do-jun raised his sword.
Vandeyan Family Swordsmanship
First Form: Killida Milagro Rucl!
—The Miracle Wrought by Dots—
Azure dots spread like spilled paint around Seo Do-jun—and soon around Scal as well.
Having become a Transcendent, even human sword techniques took on a divine quality when wielded by Seo Do-jun. The fact that he had blocked Scal’s water spear, something impossible before absorbing the Dragon Heart, was proof enough.
“What the hell is this… Guh!”
Rooker, who had rushed at Seo Do-jun before Scal could react, touched one of the blue dots and immediately staggered back, groaning as an intense heat seared through his body.
Seo Do-jun’s magic, amplified to its limits by the Eternal Ember, was not something even Rooker—empowered by the Thunder God’s strength—could ignore.
Of course not.
Seo Do-jun was now a Transcendent. His power alone could already be called divine.
“Fire? Don’t you know water can extinguish fire?”
Scal sneered as she burst one of the water droplets.
Splash—BOOM!
An unimaginable torrent of water crashed down, as if the heavens themselves had split open.
Hiss—! Hiss—!
A massive surge of steam erupted, instantly obscuring the battlefield in a thick fog.
“If water extinguishes fire, then fire evaporates water.”
Seo Do-jun had never intended to strike Scal directly with his sword technique.
His goal was singular.
“…Tch, this—!”
Scal quickly realized his intent and scowled.
She understood—he was nullifying her water droplets before they could be used.
Now free from worrying about Scal’s attacks, Seo Do-jun counterattacked.

Second Form: Grami Grimora Fora!
-Magic Woven Through Lines-
Countless lines appeared in the wake of Seo Do-jun’s sword, so numerous they were impossible to track.
The sheer density of the slashes made the air itself seem like it would shatter, suffocating to even look at.
Scal grimaced and conjured a massive water shield, but—
Hiss—! Hiss—!
The moment it touched the blue dots Seo Do-jun had prepared, the shield evaporated into steam.
“Hmph!”
With a scoff, Scal detonated all the water droplets she had prepared at once.
BOOM—!
A deafening explosion filled the area with steam, trapping even Seo Do-jun’s party in the thick mist.
Meanwhile, the lines Seo Do-jun had created surged toward Scal.
Fast, slow, erratic—they moved unpredictably, tightening around her like a prison.
“How dare you!”
Scal spread her arms wide, summoning a circular water barrier to protect herself.
But—
Slash! Slash! Slash!
The lines sliced through the barrier, inching closer to her body.
Shrrrrrk—!
The lines finally reached Scal, piercing, tearing, and cutting through her.
“Scal—!”
Rooker, belatedly realizing the danger, lunged at Seo Do-jun.
Bolts of lightning surged through the steam, making Rooker appear even more monstrous.
“Lightning? Please.”
Seo Do-jun could also convert his magic into thunder.
Crackle—ZZZT!
Rooker’s eyes widened as arcs of lightning erupted from Seo Do-jun’s blade.
“…How?!”
Fire, neutral attributes, and now lightning?
Rooker couldn’t hide his disbelief—how could someone like this exist?
But he was the true Thunder God, blessed by divinity. A mere imitation like Seo Do-jun couldn’t compare.
“I’ll show you the difference in our power!”
KRACKOOOOOM—!
Rooker’s body erupted with lightning as he clashed with Seo Do-jun’s sword.
Though the Eternal Ember stood at the pinnacle of fire, the lightning Seo Do-jun wielded—forged from remnants of storms and Letonia petals—was no match for Rooker’s divine power.
However, having absorbed part of Rebley’s lightning, Seo Do-jun could at least withstand it.
BOOOOM—!
“…Ghk!”
Seo Do-jun suppressed a groan as Rooker’s lightning coursed through him, threatening to obliterate his cells.
“You’re still standing?!”
Rooker stared in disbelief.
“Rooker! MOVE!”
Scal’s furious scream echoed as another massive water spear hurtled toward Seo Do-jun.
Her body was battered from Seo Do-jun’s earlier attack, her eyes burning with rage.
Though still recovering from Rooker’s lightning, Seo Do-jun couldn’t ignore Scal’s assault. He swung his sword with all his might.

Fourth Form: Cergel Selado Duhart!
-Sealing Power of the Unyielding Circle-
A circular sword barrier formed around Seo Do-jun, blocking Scal’s spear.
She pressed down with all her strength, but—
Hiiisssss—!
The spear evaporated upon contact, its form dissipating into steam.
“Damn it!”
Scal cursed.
The worst possible matchup.
Seo Do-jun’s fire-aligned magic was the direct counter to her water.
Meanwhile, Seo Do-jun wielded both fire and neutral magic effortlessly.
“Work with me!”
At Rooker’s shout, Scal reluctantly conjured a massive water surge, encircling Seo Do-jun.
“Become a lightning rod!”
Rooker hurled himself into the water, amplifying the Thunder God’s power to its limit.
KRRRAAAAAKOOOM—!
The water surged with lightning, crashing down on Seo Do-jun under Scal’s control.
This was dangerous.
The siblings’ combined assault posed a real threat.
Seo Do-jun retrieved a Spatial Stone from his pocket dimension.
Even as a Transcendent, his movements were still bound by speed—he couldn’t phase through obstacles.
But the Spatial Stone allowed true teleportation.
In an instant, he reappeared outside the water prison.
And where there was danger, opportunity followed.
Seo Do-jun teleported again—this time behind Scal.
“…!”
A chill ran down her spine.
‘W-When?!’
No matter how fast she was, this attack was unavoidable.
Panicking, Scal shielded herself with water and lunged forward.
A fatal mistake.
Swish—CRACK!
Her left arm and shoulder vanished cleanly.
Her face paled.
“…Tch!”
“Lucky. Or should I say, skill?”
Scal hastily layered water shields around herself just as a massive impact sent her crashing into the ground.
“SCAAAAAL—!”
Rooker rushed toward her as Seo Do-jun clicked his tongue in disappointment.
He had predicted Scal would dodge forward, so he had set a trap—an Akremoth Pocket Dimension—where her torso would have been.
If not for her reflexes, she would have died instantly.
“Well, a Transcendent wouldn’t die that easily.”
Accepting the outcome, Seo Do-jun advanced toward the siblings.
“Scal! You… you…”
“Stop crying like an idiot!”
Scal snapped, unfazed by her missing arm.
“Damn it… Damn it!”
Rooker trembled with rage at the sight of his sister’s cleanly severed limb.
“Brother, calm down. He’s the strongest opponent we’ve ever faced. Understand?”
“But—!”
“Ugh, you moron! Use your head! Do you think charging blindly will work? Do you want us both to die here?!”
“That’s not—!”
“We need to figure out how he cut my arm off. It was a split-second difference.”
That difference.
Had Scal not relied on her Transcendent instincts, her head would have been gone.
This enemy was terrifying. Acting with rage would only get them killed.
“You… pull yourself together.”
Rooker clenched his teeth and stood, glaring at Seo Do-jun.
Losing an arm was nothing. If that was the price for survival, it was a fair trade.
But still—
“I’ll kill you with my own hands, you bastard.”
“Anytime. But I’m curious—even Transcendents like you lick Barhaut’s boots?”
Rooker’s face twisted.
“What did you just say? Lick his boots?!”
“Or should I say, suck his toes?”
“YOU SON OF A—!”
“Brother!”
Scal’s shout snapped Rooker back to his senses.
“Pathetic. The older brother is weaker than the little sister.”
Seo Do-jun tried to provoke him further, but Rooker didn’t take the bait this time.
“Who are you? Why are you openly challenging Barhaut?”
Like Araes, the Himaid siblings were shocked that such a powerful enemy existed.
“The Sword God from a world Barhaut destroyed.”
“Sword God…?”
Rooker nodded slowly. The title fit.
“Here for revenge? Is that why you’re liberating Guardian Planets?”
“Obviously.”
“Hah! Plenty have sworn vengeance on Barhaut, but you’re the first to actually land a hit.”
Rooker even gave a grudging thumbs-up.
“But you made a mistake.”
“Mistake? Seeking revenge is a mistake?”
Rooker shook his head.
“I don’t care about the Guardian Planets. Frankly, seeing Barhaut humiliated is satisfying.”
“Then what’s the mistake?”
“Cutting off my little sister’s arm. That was your mistake.”
Before Seo Do-jun could retort—
Rooker’s eyes blazed with murderous intent as lightning erupted from his body.
KRACKOOOM!
A colossal bolt surged from his hands, while a tidal wave rose behind Seo Do-jun.
The second battle had begun.
